Our Fastkix Championship is here!

Every year, our students look forward to competing at our Fastkix Championships!  Held right at our Spotswood location, this is a great opportunity for ALL students to show off their skills and hard work in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Beginners always have a blast at this event since it's all run by our staff and at their "home" school, but even our most seasoned black belts enjoy a little healthy competition every once in awhile too!

3- SPEED BREAKING - HAND: Fastest time to break 10 thin demo boards with hand technique (Hammerfist, Palm heel, knife hand or punch)

4-POWER BREAKING - FOOT: Most boards broken in one attempt with a kick (thin demo boards with spacers)

5-POWER BREAKING - HAND: Most boards broken in one attempt with a hand technique (thin demo boards with spacers)

5-OLYMPIC SPARRING

6-PADDED WEAPON SPARRING

1. OBSTACLE COURSE: Test your taekwondo and life skills in a cool multi-station obstacle course

OTHER EVENT INFORMATION:

Staging Times

9:00 am – Judges meeting

10:00 am – All athletes report  

Mini Masters will compete first, followed by taekwondo athletes

HOW WILL BOARD BREAKING WORK: Each competitor will have ten boards (5 boards for Mini Masters). The competition is determined by who can break all their boards in the least amount of time. First place will be decided by the fastest time, second place by the second fastest time, and so on. Each competitor will have a maximum of thirty seconds to break all their boards.  There can be up to two stations in front of the competitor (five boards each). The competitor may use one or both legs to break the boards, but must break one board at a time. In other words, the competitor cannot try to break two boards at the same time. In the event of a tie for first or second place, the winner will be decided first by which one has the fewer number of unbroken boards. If there is still a tie, then the winner will be decided by the judges based on which competitor they determine had better balance and poise before, during and after the techniques.

All competition boards must be purchased from Fastkix 

We will also have practice boards available for purchase and you can order them when you register.

GRAND CHAMPION TROPHY:  Athletes will earn points for every event entered and placed in. The top male and female will win our Grand Champion trophies!
